We are seeking a motivated Renewable Energy Consultant to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in renewable energy technologies and a passion for promoting sustainable practices. Your role will involve advising clients on energy efficiency, project management, and technical assessments to facilitate the transition towards renewable energy sources.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze the feasibility of renewable energy projects.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients during project execution.
• Monitor project timelines and ensure deliverables are met.
• Collaborate with local government and utilities on energy initiatives.
• Design and implement energy efficiency strategies tailored to client needs.
• Evaluate and report on project outcomes and energy savings.
• Participate in professional development and training activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Renewable Energy, Environmental Engineering, or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in consulting or project management in renewable energy

Technical Skills

• Proficient in energy modelling software
• Financial analysis skills

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving capabilities
• Team collaboration skills

Certifications

• LEED Accredited Professional
• Certified Energy Auditor (CEA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
