Job Description

We seek an experienced Environmental Engineer to lead projects aimed at promoting environmental sustainability within the Stellenbosch region. You will be responsible for conducting environmental impact assessments, developing innovative solutions, and liaising with stakeholders to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform environmental impact assessments.
  • Develop and implement resource conservation strategies.
  • Work with engineering teams to integrate sustainability into design.
  • Engage with various stakeholders, including government and community groups.
  • Monitor project compliance with environmental standards.
  • Prepare and present technical reports.
  • Advise on waste management solutions.
  • Implement monitoring systems for environmental performance.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in environmental engineering or consulting
