Environmental Engineer

Job Description

We seek an experienced Environmental Engineer to lead projects aimed at promoting environmental sustainability within the Stellenbosch region. You will be responsible for conducting environmental impact assessments, developing innovative solutions, and liaising with stakeholders to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assess and report on the ecological impacts of projects.
• Collaborate with colleagues to innovate sustainable engineering solutions.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies for project approvals.
• Conduct site inspections and audits.
• Develop educational materials and community programs.
• Review and update environmental policies.
• Participate in training and awareness campaigns.
• Maintain accurate project documentation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years in environmental engineering or consulting
