We are on the lookout for a skilled Cybersecurity Consultant to join our dedicated team in Durban. The role will require you to assess security measures, develop security policies, and implement protection strategies to safeguard our systems and data from cyber threats.

Responsibilities

• Engage in proactive threat hunting to identify vulnerabilities.
• Establish security metrics to evaluate effectiveness.
• Design and implement firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
• Manage security incidents and ensure timely reporting.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors for security assessments.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Cybersecurity or related field is preferred
• Relevant certifications enhance candidacy

Experience

• 5 years of experience in cybersecurity
