Responsibilities

• Assess and document patient progress towards therapy goals.
• Create engaging and adaptive therapeutic activities tailored to individual patients.
• Liaise with community resources for ongoing support and therapy.
• Participate in patient case reviews and contribute to treatment adjustments.
• Guide the integration of assistive technology and adaptive equipment in therapy.
• Offer consultations to families regarding home adaptations and support services.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in diverse occupational therapy settings

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• isiXhosa: Conversational

• Certification in sensory integration therapy: Specialization in sensory processing disorders and therapy techniques.
