We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Durban. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in civil engineering principles, design, and project management. Your role will involve overseeing projects, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and draft civil engineering plans and layouts.
• Coordinate construction activities to ensure work is completed safely.
• Conduct material testing and quality assurance checks.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and regulatory agencies.
• Resolve any site-related issues that arise during construction.
• Implement best practices in civil engineering design.
• Prepare progress reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Assist in developing innovative engineering solutions.
• Ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
• Review and approve project submittals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field is preferred

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in complex civil engineering projects
