We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of mechanical design and fabrication processes, as well as experience in project management and collaboration across various engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Analyse existing engineering systems for improvement opportunities.
• Develop cost estimates and project timelines for proposed designs.
• Maintain communication with clients to ensure project alignment.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of bids and proposals.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering and design

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Material Science

• Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
