Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Bridge Design Specialist to join our growing team in Sandton. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of safe and sustainable bridge structures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of civil engineering principles and possess hands-on experience in bridge design projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering design process for bridge projects from concept to completion.
• Conduct structural analysis to determine load capacities and performance.
• Utilize CAD and structural analysis software for design purposes.
• Prepare and present design proposals to clients and regulatory bodies.
• Evaluate materials and design options for sustainability.
• Oversee project budgets and timelines effectively.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive project execution.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in bridge design or structural engineering
