We are seeking a passionate Online Tutor who can deliver engaging and effective educational content to our students in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various subjects and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. You will be responsible for preparing lesson plans, assessing student performance, and helping students achieve their academic goals in a digital format.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular assessments to identify student strengths and areas for improvement.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance and progress.
• Utilize various online tools and platforms to enhance teaching methods.
• Provide support and mentorship to students during their learning journeys.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss curriculum updates and teaching strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Education, or related field

Experience

• 2+ years of tutoring or teaching experience

Technical Skills

• Online Teaching Platforms
• Learning Management Systems

Soft Skills

• Communication

Certifications

• Certified Tutor (CT)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with ESL teaching: Experience in teaching English as a second language is preferred.
