Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team at Education First Academy in Cape Town. The ideal candidate should be keen to support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and providing individual attention to students, fostering their academic growth.

Responsibilities

  • Be an active participant in the creation of lesson activities.
  • Support students with special educational needs in the classroom.
  • Encourage collaboration among students in group projects.
  • Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization.
  • Participate actively in staff meetings and collaborative planning.
  • Contribute to the development of student assessments and evaluations.
  • Assist in the integration of technology into the classroom.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Education is a plus

  • 2+ years of experience supporting educators
