Job Description

As a General Practitioner at our facility in Pretoria, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients, developing treatment plans, and providing preventative care. You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient examinations and interviews to assess their health status.
• Diagnose and treat various medical conditions and injuries.
• Develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Prescribe medications and monitor patient progress.
• Educate patients about health and wellness practices.
• Collaborate with specialists and healthcare professionals for integrated care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Participate in community outreach programs to promote public health.
• Stay updated on medical advancements and best practices.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Valid registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a clinical setting as a GP
