Job Description

We're on the lookout for a talented Product Designer to join our Johannesburg team. This position centers around crafting engaging and user-friendly designs while collaborating closely with developers and product managers. You will play a key role in influencing the design process from concept to delivery, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities

• Design user interface elements like buttons, navigation menus, and widgets.
• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions.
• Collaborate with developers to implement compelling design solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate best practices into your designs.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for product features.
• Work closely with product managers to define the product vision and plan.
• Translate complex design problems and requirements into elegant solutions.
• Provide design guidance and mentorship to junior designers.
• Ensure a consistent brand voice and style throughout all applications.
• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in product design or related area
