Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a qualified Civil Engineer to join our team in East London. The successful candidate will play a key role in planning, designing, and overseeing construction projects while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning and execution in line with timelines.
• Execute risk assessments and implement corrective actions.
• Review and negotiate contracts with contractors/subcontractors.
• Ensure environmental compliance of projects.
• Utilize software for project management and design.
• Facilitate stakeholder consultations and manage client relationships.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5-7 years in civil engineering projects

Technical Skills

• Surveying
• Water Resource Management

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Negotiation

Certifications

• LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficient in Civil Engineering Software: Experience with civil engineering software such as Civil 3D or similar.
• Leadership Experience on Major Projects: Demonstrated ability to lead teams on large-scale projects.
