Warehouse Supervisor

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to manage daily operations within our Durban warehouse. The successful candidate will oversee the receiving, storing, and distribution of goods while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. You’ll play a crucial role in driving efficiency and productivity in the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise warehouse staff to ensure timely and efficient operations.
• Facilitate communication between departments to enhance logistics processes.
• Ensure the correct documentation of all shipments and deliveries.
• Analyze workflow and implement process improvements.
• Enforce safety protocols and training for warehouse personnel.
• Assist in inventory management systems and software use.
• Prepare for audits and maintain accurate records.
• Support the Operations Manager in various projects as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Matric/Grade 12
• Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role within a warehouse environment.

• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with ERP systems: Experience using ERP systems for inventory and logistics management.
