Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our operations in East London. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing warehouse activities, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations while optimizing efficiency in our logistics processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the warehouse team in daily operations, ensuring high productivity and morale.
  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for staff on best practices in warehouse management.
  • Monitor the performance of warehouse operations against KPIs and report findings to senior management.
  • Work collaboratively with procurement and sales teams to maximize operational effectiveness.
  • Perform any additional duties as required to support the logistics function.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
  • Additional qualifications in project management are advantageous
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in a warehouse environment

  • Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
