Job Description

As a Veterinarian at our Cape Town clinic, you'll be responsible for diagnosing and treating a diverse range of animals. We seek an individual with strong clinical skills and an empathetic approach towards pet owners. Your role will encompass preventive care, surgical procedures, and educating clients about pet health.

Responsibilities

• Examine animals, diagnose medical conditions, and implement treatment plans.
• Educate pet owners about animal health and wellness.
• Manage cases of emergencies and trauma situations effectively.
• Maintain compliance with veterinary regulations and clinic protocols.
• Conduct pre-surgical examinations and post-operative care.
• Engage in continuous learning and share knowledge with team members.
• Develop and implement strategies for improving patient outcomes.
• Assist in the training of veterinary interns and assistants.

Requirements

Education

• Veterinary Science degree from an accredited institution

Experience

• 3-5 years working in a high-paced veterinary environment
