UX/UI Designer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented UX/UI Designer to join our Cape Town team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating visually appealing and user-centric designs. You will work closely with product managers and developers to translate user needs into effective design solutions that enhance overall user satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user data to inform design changes and improvements.
• Utilize design software to create innovative UI designs.
• Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
• Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of UX/UI design experience, preferably in a tech environment

Technical Skills

• Sketch
• Usability Testing

Soft Skills

• Team collaboration
• Problem-solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with web accessibility standards: Knowledge of WCAG standards and best practices for accessibility.
• Experience in animation and motion design: Ability to incorporate animation into user interfaces to enhance user experience.
