Rotary Drill Operator (Cable Driller)

Job Description

As a Rotary Drill Operator, or Cable Driller, your primary responsibility will be drilling cable holes and trenches in various environments. This role requires hands-on operation of drilling machinery and the ability to work as part of a team to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-operation inspections of drilling and safety equipment.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to establish work plans.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during drilling activities.
• Document work performed and any incidents in a daily log.
• Train junior team members on drilling techniques and safety procedures.
• Conduct maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure operational readiness.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant certifications or training

Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a similar role.

Certifications

• First Aid Certification
• Driving License (Code 8 or 10)

Languages

• English: Fluent
