Process Inspector

Job Description

The Process Inspector is pivotal in overseeing the manufacturing operations to ensure that all products meet quality and safety standards. This role requires keen attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work under pressure. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will collaborate with production staff to enhance process efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials and finished products to verify compliance with specifications.
• Document inspection results and communicate issues to relevant parties.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to uphold product integrity.
• Participate in internal audits and quality reviews.
• Implement corrective actions for non-conformance issues.
• Assist in the development of quality manuals and standards.
• Monitor production runs for quality deviations.
• Engage with suppliers to resolve any quality-related issues.
• Utilize Lean Manufacturing principles to streamline processes.
• Ensure all records are accurately kept and accessible.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant diploma or degree in manufacturing or quality assurance

Experience

• Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Experience with ISO quality management systems
• Statistical Process Control (SPC)

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving skills
• Interpersonal skills

Certifications

• Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent
