Job Description

The Molded Goods Spot Picker plays a vital role in our production line by selecting and inspecting molded goods for quality assurance before they reach the packaging department. We seek a detail-oriented individual with a strong eye for quality and a commitment to upholding our product standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect molded products to ensure they meet defined quality standards.
• Remove excess material or flash from molded goods where necessary.
• Collaborate with quality control teams to address any product inconsistencies.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in the workplace.
• Assist the production team with other tasks as required.

Requirements

Education

• Minimum of Grade 10 education or equivalent

Experience

• No prior experience required, but experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Keen eye for detail
• Good hand-eye coordination

Soft Skills

• Team collaboration
• Good communication skills

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic

Advantageous

• Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment: Practical familiarity with production processes and quality control.
• Ability to speak and understand basic Afrikaans or isiZulu: Useful for communication in a diverse work environment.
