Job Description

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Technician to join our Johannesburg team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, providing support to our users, and ensuring smooth IT operations. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our IT infrastructure and supporting our staff's technical needs.

Responsibilities

• Respond to user inquiries concerning computer software or hardware operation.
• Perform routine maintenance on IT equipment and software.
• Assist with the setup of new user workstations and systems.
• Monitor and maintain IT inventory and supplies.
• Prepare technical documentation and user manuals.
• Work with external vendors and contractors for system installations and repairs.
• Support IT projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Computer Science or similar field
• Bachelor's degree in IT is preferable

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in technical support or IT administration

Technical Skills

• Troubleshooting and diagnostics
