Job Description

Tech Innovations Inc. is on the lookout for a Software Engineer in Pretoria. You’ll be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, from conception through to deployment. This position requires a proactive problem solver who embraces challenges and works effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Work alongside product owners to gather requirements and design solutions.
• Ensure performance, security, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and propose improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in software development

Technical Skills

• JavaScript
• Python
• RESTful APIs
• SQL

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Teamwork

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure): Knowledge of cloud infrastructure is a plus.
• Experience with Agile methodologies: Proven experience in Agile software development practices.
