Job Description

We are seeking an AI Research Engineer to join our Johannesburg team. This role is critical in developing and implementing innovative AI solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in machine learning, statistical analysis, and programming languages such as Python.

Responsibilities

• Research new AI methodologies and implement them into projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to integrate AI products.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on AI research findings.
• Train and mentor junior staff on best practices in AI development.
• Contribute to the company’s overall strategy in AI technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence or related field is preferred

• 4+ years in AI development or research
