Responsibilities

• Assess emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Conduct forensic analysis on security incidents and breaches.
• Maintain security documentation and improve security policies periodically.
• Work with software developers to ensure secure software development practices.
• Engage in continual professional development to remain updated on security trends.
• Provide monthly reports on security posture to senior management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security or Computer Science
• Master's degree is an added advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years in cybersecurity or threat intelligence

Technical Skills

• Firewalls and VPNs
• Network Security

Soft Skills

• Critical Thinking
• Effective Communication

Certifications

• GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of ISO 27001: Familiarity with ISO 27001 standards for information security management.
• Experience with cloud security solutions: Hands-on experience securing cloud infrastructures and services.
