UX/UI Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and a passion for creating engaging user experiences. You will collaborate closely with developers and product managers to transform ideas into exceptional digital products.

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Work closely with the product team to define user experience goals.
• Analyze user feedback and iterate designs based on insights.
• Create a cohesive style guide for design consistency.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• Experience in user research and design methodologies

Technical Skills

• InVision
• HTML/CSS

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Time Management

Certifications

• Certified Usability Analyst (CUA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with front-end development: Basic skills in HTML and CSS are a plus.
• Understanding of SEO principles: Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization.
