Laboratory Technician

Job Description

Join our dynamic team in Durban as a Laboratory Technician! You'll be responsible for conducting a variety of laboratory tests while adhering to safety protocols. This role requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail to maintain the quality of lab results.

Responsibilities

• Execute laboratory procedures under the supervision of the Laboratory Manager.
• Assist in the development and validation of new tests.
• Monitor the performance of laboratory tests and troubleshoot as required.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the laboratory.
• Provide support and guidance to junior laboratory staff.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
• Bachelor's degree is a strong advantage

Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant laboratory experience

• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous
