Job Description

We are looking for an IT Support Technician in Durban to provide exceptional technical support to our clients and internal teams. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, a customer-oriented approach, and a solid understanding of IT systems and networks.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to IT support requests incident tickets.
  • Configure and install software updates and patches.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Support remote users by addressing their technical queries.
  • Maintain inventory of IT assets.
  • Assist in the deployment of IT projects.
  • Conduct regular audits of software and hardware installations.
  • Develop support documentation for users and IT staff.
  • Collaborate with teams to implement IT solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security protocols.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant IT certification or diploma
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in IT technical support
