Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented Electrical Engineer to enhance our team in Durban. In this role, you will design and supervise the installation of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Work on the electrical design and layout for new installations.
• Collaborate with mechanical and civil engineers to optimize project outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Perform field assessments and modify designs based on findings.
• Develop and manage project budgets related to electrical components.
• Assist in the training of junior engineers and interns.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss project progress.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the electrical sector

• Certified Energy Manager
