Job Description

Join our well-established mental health practice in Johannesburg as a Clinical Psychologist. You will provide psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to clients while contributing to ongoing community health initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop treatment goals collaboratively with clients.
• Monitor and evaluate the efficacy of therapeutic interventions.
• Document all client interactions and treatment outcomes meticulously.
• Assist in training interns or new staff in clinical practices.
• Engage with community organizations to improve mental health services.
• Provide teletherapy services as needed.
• Maintain compliance with ethical and legal standards in psychology.

Requirements

Education

• PhD in Psychology

Experience

• 5+ years of clinical experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Behavioral Therapy
• Trauma-Informed Care

Soft Skills

• Crisis Management
• Interpersonal Skills

Certifications

• Clinical Psychology Registration with HPCSA
• Trauma Response Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
