Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Payroll and Timekeeping Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately recording and managing employee time and attendance data, ensuring compliance with company policies and labor regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records of employee time and attendance.
  • Handle time tracking discrepancies and ensure accurate data entry.
  • Compile and analyze attendance data for management reports.
  • Facilitate communication with HR regarding attendance-related issues.
  • Implement and update time management protocols and guidelines.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on timekeeping software usage.
  • Verify the accuracy of payroll data before processing.
  • Assist HR in the onboarding process of new employees.
  • Prepare monthly attendance reports for departmental reviews.
  • Liaise with payroll department to ensure timely payment processes.
  • Support compliance audits related to employee timekeeping.
  • Work collaboratively with departmental managers to ensure attendance accuracy.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Certification in payroll management is a plus
Experience
  • At least 2-3 years’ experience in payroll or HR administration
