Training and Development Specialist

Job Description

As a Training and Development Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing training programs tailored to our employees' needs. You will collaborate with management to assess skills gaps and utilize various training methodologies to foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess training needs through surveys and performance reviews.
• Create and implement training strategies that address identified needs.
• Deliver training sessions using various methodologies, including e-learning and classroom instruction.
• Monitor and report on the progress of training initiatives and their impact on employee performance.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization.
• Work closely with external training providers to enhance internal learning initiatives.
• Support the onboarding process for new hires with tailored training programs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, or related field
• Postgraduate qualification preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic
