Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Veterinarian to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a range of animal health issues, providing preventive care, and educating pet owners on best practices for animal health. Your expertise will help ensure our patients receive the highest standard of care.

Responsibilities

• Administer vaccinations and medications to animals.
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results.
• Provide emergency care to animals in distress.
• Guide and mentor junior veterinarians and technicians.
• Engage with clients to build strong relationships and trust.
• Use veterinary imaging tools to assess animal health.
• Keep up-to-date with continuing education opportunities.
• Contribute to the development of clinic protocols and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
• Licensure to practice veterinary medicine in South Africa

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in veterinary practice
