Job Description

As a Pharmacist in our Cape Town branch, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. You'll work with our dedicated team to optimize pharmacy operations and enhance patient care services.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert recommendations for medications and health products.
• Monitor patient medication regimens for safety and effectiveness.
• Perform clinical assessments and make recommendations.
• Participate in community outreach and health awareness initiatives.
• Maintain confidentiality and patient privacy at all times.
• Contribute to the pharmacy's strategic planning and development.
• Review third-party claims and foster relationships with insurance providers.
• Assist in developing and implementing pharmacy protocols.
• Manage stock levels and medication recalls effectively.
• Foster a positive team environment and support staff development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy

Experience

• An ideal candidate has 3+ years in a pharmacy setting.

Certifications

• Certification in Advanced Clinical Pharmacy (preferred)
