Job Description

A Faith Doctor is responsible for providing spiritual guidance, counseling, and support to individuals seeking religious or spiritual guidance. You will play a crucial role in helping individuals navigate their faith journey, provide pastoral care, and facilitate religious services.

Responsibilities

  • Counsel individuals facing a variety of personal challenges, providing comfort and support.
  • Organize and participate in community prayer events and workshops.
  • Network with local leaders to strengthen community ties.
  • Help individuals explore their religious beliefs and questions.
  • Document and report on the outcomes of counseling sessions.
  • Provide training for new staff and volunteers in spiritual care.
  • Encourage participation in faith-based activities and outreach.
  • Advocate for the spiritual and emotional well-being of clients.
  • Monitor spiritual growth and progress of individuals receiving guidance.
  • Develop strategies for increasing community engagement in spiritual activities.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Theology or related field is preferred
  • Additional certifications in pastoral counseling or spiritual leadership are advantageous
Experience
  • Experience in conducting religious services and mentoring individuals.
