Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Public Health Officer to help enhance community health initiatives in Durban. The ideal candidate will develop and implement public health programs, educate the community, and work towards improving health standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement strategic public health programs.
• Facilitate workshops and seminars on health education topics.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of health interventions and programs.
• Promote community involvement in health assessments.
• Support health policy development and advocacy.
• Assist in preparing reports for health authorities.
• Manage outreach efforts to underserved populations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or relevant field
• Master's degree in Public Health is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in public health roles
