Job Description

Pharmacy Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented pharmacist to ensure safe and effective medication use for our patients. You will engage in patient education, manage medication therapies, and provide personalized healthcare solutions.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
• Provide medication consultations and patient education.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient therapy.
• Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and standards.
• Manage inventory and maintain stock levels of medications.
• Assist in the training and mentoring of pharmacy staff.
• Respond to patient inquiries regarding medications and health.
• Prepare and package medications for distribution.
• Conduct health screenings and provide wellness advice.
• Maintain detailed patient records in compliance with legal requirements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
• Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council is required

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting
