Pharmacist

Job Description

Seeking a passionate Pharmacist to enhance our team in Port Elizabeth. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including medication dispensing, conducting health consultations, and fostering relationships with our community to improve health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular quality checks on medications and supplies in the pharmacy.
• Foster a welcoming environment for all patients who visit the pharmacy.
• Utilize technology to enhance patient care and pharmacy operations.
• Develop patient education materials on medication therapy management.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Pharmacy is a plus
• Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting

Technical Skills

• Pharmaceutical Calculations

• Problem-Solving

Advantageous

• Fluent in Afrikaans or isiXhosa: Ability to communicate effectively with a broader patient base.
• Experience in clinical pharmacy settings: Familiarity with in-patient care and hospital pharmacy practices.
