Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dermatology Physician to join our team. The successful candidate will diagnose and treat various skin conditions, providing excellent patient care and ensuring optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient consultations and provide high-quality dermatological care.
• Prescribe and administer medications for dermatological conditions.
• Engage in patient education regarding skincare and therapy options.
• Work closely with allied health professionals for holistic patient outcomes.
• Participate in continuous professional development and training sessions.
• Document patient interactions and treatment outcomes in EHR systems.
• Facilitate skin health awareness workshops in the community.

Requirements

Education

• Medical degree with specialization in Dermatology
• Further qualifications in Cosmetic Dermatology preferred

Experience

• Experience in a private practice setting is advantageous

Technical Skills

• Surgical skills
• Knowledge of dermatological treatments

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Empathy and compassion

Certifications

• Certification in Dermatological Surgery
• Membership with the South African Dermatology Society

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

• Experience with cosmetic procedures: Knowledge of dermal fillers, Botox, and laser treatments.
• Involvement in research initiatives: Participation in research that contributes to dermatological advancements.
