We are looking for an Environmental Engineer based in Durban, who will play a vital role in addressing environmental challenges through the design and implementation of sustainable engineering solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices, ensuring compliance and promoting sustainability in all projects.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate project sites for ecological risks and impacts.
• Manage and mentor junior staff in best environmental practices.
• Identify opportunities for improving environmental performance.
• Prepare presentations for clients and stakeholders on project findings.
• Implement environmental monitoring programs to track project impact.
• Coordinate with government agencies on environmental permits.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Engineering
• Postgraduate qualification is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant industry experience
