Job Description

As an Insurance Underwriter at Prestige Insurance, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing insurance applications. Your expertise will help guide clients in making informed decisions regarding their coverage options.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client data to make informed underwriting decisions.
• Prepare and communicate underwriting terms and conditions to clients.
• Assess the financial viability of applicants and recommend appropriate coverage.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss underwriting goals and strategies.
• Support the marketing team by providing underwriting insights.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Risk Management or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably underwriting

Technical Skills

• Underwriting software proficiency
• Financial analysis

Soft Skills

• Negotiation skills
• Organizational skills

Certifications

• Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC)
• Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
