Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Metal-Refining Furnace Operator to manage and operate our open hearth furnace effectively. The ideal candidate will ensure the production of high-quality metals while maintaining safe and efficient operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of refining equipment and ensure proper functioning.
• Adjust controls as necessary to maintain optimal temperature and pressure.
• Coordinate with team members to achieve production targets.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment.
• Record daily operational data for performance analysis.
• Implement best practices for safety and efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Trade certificate in metallurgy or steel production

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience operating an Open Hearth Furnace in a steel production environment.
