Environmental Scientist

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Environmental Scientist to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research, assessing environmental impact, and developing strategies to promote sustainability. Responsibilities

• Execute field studies and laboratory analyses to evaluate environmental impacts.
• Develop educational materials on environmental conservation for clients and the community.
• Collaborate with researchers and academics on environmental studies.
• Advise on ecological restoration and habitat improvement projects.
• Prepare presentations for stakeholders to communicate findings.
• Participate in public outreach initiatives to promote environmental awareness.
• Coordinate and lead workshops focused on sustainability practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master’s degree in Environmental Studies preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in environmental consulting

Certifications

• Certified Environmental Professional (CEP)
