Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Cape Town. As a vital member of our pharmacy, you will be responsible for assisting pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, managing inventory, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a passion for healthcare and a commitment to patient safety.

Responsibilities

  • Dispense medications accurately and efficiently.
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies.
  • Provide patients with information about medications and advice on health products.
  • Ensure the pharmacy complies with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance professional skills.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff to improve workflow and patient care.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Pharmacy or related field
  • SAPC registration is mandatory
Experience
  • 2-4 years experience in a retail pharmacy setting
