Job Description

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Nelspruit team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of various structures. You will work closely with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure the integrity and safety of projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed structural analysis reports and documentation.
• Participate in project planning and development meetings.
• Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to engineering plans.
• Conduct structural assessments and evaluations as required.
• Identify and resolve engineering challenges during project execution.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on industry trends.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Master's degree is an asset

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in structural engineering

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• SAP2000
• Reinforced Concrete Design
• Steel Structure Design

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Leadership

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng.)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with BIM software: Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools.
