Quality Assurance Tester

Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous Quality Assurance Tester to ensure the quality and performance of our software products. As part of our dedicated team in Midrand, you will be responsible for identifying and resolving defects, creating test plans, and collaborating with developers. Your keen eye for detail will help us deliver exceptional software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze functional requirements and develop corresponding test cases.
• Monitor testing progress and report on test status to stakeholders.
• Execute tests in various environments and on multiple devices.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment, attending daily stand-ups and sprint planning.
• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) efforts and liaise with clients for feedback.
• Enhance test automation processes and tools.
• Identify areas for QA improvement within the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related field
• Postgraduate qualification in IT is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance testing

Technical Skills

• Test Management Tools (TestRail, Zephyr)
• Continuous Integration Tools (Jenkins, Travis CI)

Soft Skills

• Team Collaboration
• Time Management

Certifications

• Certified Software Tester (CST)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Mobile Application Testing: Experience in testing mobile applications for various platforms.
• Familiarity with Agile Methodologies: Experience in Agile projects and participation in sprints.
