Tax Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Tax Specialist to join our dynamic team in Centurion. You will be responsible for providing expert tax advice and ensuring compliance with current regulations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of tax legislation and possess excellent analytical skills to navigate complex tax scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate tax compliance requirements for clients and advise accordingly.
• Handle objections and audits from the tax authorities effectively.
• Work with clients to identify and resolve tax disputes.
• Support the financial team in understanding the impact of tax regulations on financial statements.
• Train junior staff on tax compliance and processing.
• Develop educational materials for clients regarding tax processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Taxation certification is highly advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in tax compliance and advisory services

Certifications

• Registered Tax Practitioner (RTP)
