Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and optimizing chemical processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize chemical processes.
• Assist in the scale-up of chemical production.
• Monitor and evaluate production performance.
• Ensure that all engineering activities comply with health and safety standards.
• Participate in the planning and execution of projects.
• Mentor and guide engineering interns.
• Evaluate equipment and process performance.
• Initiate and lead improvement projects.
• Conduct experiments and analyze data to support process optimization.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience in chemical engineering

Certifications

• Registered Engineer (ECSA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
