Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations in Johannesburg. You will be responsible for developing strategic plans to enhance the efficiency of the supply chain, from procurement to distribution. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of supply chain logistics.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with various departments to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
• Conduct regular supplier evaluations to maintain service quality and cost efficiency.
• Develop risk management strategies to mitigate potential disruptions in the supply chain.
• Utilize supply chain management software for data analysis and reporting.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to maximize savings.
• Implement best practices for supply chain operations to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management
