Job Description

We are seeking an Inventory Manager to lead our inventory operations in Pretoria. The successful candidate will oversee inventory control processes, manage stock levels, and ensure that stock is organized and accessible. You will play a crucial role in optimizing our inventory management system to enhance accuracy and efficiency in our warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead inventory control initiatives to enhance efficiency.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to maintain organized stock.
• Implement technology solutions to improve inventory tracking.
• Develop strategies for optimal inventory turnover.
• Prepare forecasting reports for future inventory needs.
• Train new staff on proper inventory procedures.
• Conduct analysis of stock deficits and surpluses to inform purchasing decisions.
• Maintain records for audits and compliance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Certification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in inventory management or logistics roles

Technical Skills

• Warehouse Management Systems
• Forecasting Techniques

Certifications

• Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
• Project Management Certification is an advantage

Languages
