Tax Manager

Job Description

As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing tax compliance and advisory services for a diverse portfolio of clients. You will lead a team of tax professionals, ensuring accuracy in tax filings and strategic tax planning.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the timely preparation of federal and state tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Act as a primary contact for clients regarding tax inquiries and issues.
• Design and implement internal controls for improved tax compliance.
• Evaluate and recommend strategies for tax optimization and risk management.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring activities from a tax perspective.
• Conduct audits and review tax procedures for compliance effectiveness.
• Foster a collaborative relationship with local tax authorities.
• Ensure client service excellence by maintaining strong relationships.
• Prepare tax briefing materials and assist in client engagements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Taxation, Accounting, or related field
• Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CA, CPA) is preferred

Experience

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in taxation and financial services
