Self-Enrichment Teacher

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Self-Enrichment Teacher to lead singing lessons at our academy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vocal education and a passion for inspiring students of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver individualized vocal lessons to meet diverse student needs.
• Encourage participation in music competitions and public performances.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to foster student growth in music.
• Organize workshops and masterclasses with guest artists.
• Incorporate technology and digital resources into lessons.
• Support students in preparing for auditions and performances.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Music Education or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in teaching singing

Technical Skills

• Vocal Techniques
• Music Theory

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Patience and Empathy

Certifications

• Grade 8 Vocal Certificate (Trinity or ABRSM)
• Music Education Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with music notation software: Proficiency in software such as Sibelius or Finale for lesson planning.
• Experience in leading vocal ensembles: Experience in directing choirs or vocal groups is advantageous.
